Is the finiteness of the observer in an infinite universe the sole cause of existence of time? How could the first observer have come about the universe? Does any self-referential system contain observer? Are these limitations caused solely by the language the observer uses to describe the universe?

Which is more powerful the universe the language describes or the language itself? Or is there a third option, which is that the observer is timeless and most powerful, but didn't the universe create the observer, I don't seem to be able to find a way out of this circular reasoning.
