Recently, I have had this realization that anxiety stems from undesirable or painful effects of mechanisms in our reality that we either are unaware of or don’t completely understand. Remembering that effects always come before the causes, helps a great deal. It also means that anxiousness is designed direct and lead us to a better understanding of our reality. And this palpable state of confusion is the movement towards the formation of a more connected and resilient self.

This point of view helps treat a source of anxiety as a step on the stairway to self-discovery, a chance to deepen our equilibrium rather than something to avoid or get around.
